Gateway Fee Exporter Documentation

    Changelog

Documentation for WebMe Gateway Fee Exporter.

    0.1.0 - Launch Review

    Added

    • WooCommerce admin export page for gateway fee CSV downloads.
    • JSON manifest export with filters, columns, row counts, totals, missing-fee report, and Gateway Coverage Report.
    • Stored-metadata resolvers for tested Stripe-family, WooPayments, PayPal, PayPal Payments, and PayPal Checkout order records.
    • Resolver-status filter for resolved, missing_fee, missing_transaction_id, ambiguous, invalid_amount, and unsupported_gateway.
    • Dynamic Gateway Coverage Report that groups payment methods and candidate fee/net-like private meta key names without exposing raw values.
    • Saved export presets with last-run timestamps.

    Changed

    • Full totals and diagnostics now run only after Run analysis, reducing accidental all-store scans on admin page load.
    • Derived net values now report derived_gross_minus_fee as the net source.
    • Fee and net metadata are normalized to fixed-decimal strings when valid.
    • CSV formula-injection protection now applies across text-like export fields.

    Fixed

    • Non-numeric fee or net metadata is now flagged as invalid_amount instead of being exported as raw accounting data.
    • Missing and unsupported data paths are now represented consistently in preview, CSV, and manifest outputs.

    Known Limits

    • Paid date is exported as a column but is not a launch filter.
    • The plugin does not call gateway APIs, store credentials, backfill fees, reconcile payouts, or sync accounting platforms.
    • Unsupported gateways remain unsupported in CSV rows; Gateway Coverage Report only helps evaluate future resolver support.
